Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is good. The curriculum is as per industrial knowledge. Yes, sometimes visits are organized. Some of the syllabus are inappropriate in certain branches which are not related to industrial use. Specially curriculum of the first year is not very useful for industrial use.
Placement Experience
TCL, byju, l&t, Vedanta, Bhushan, tata sponge, tata steel, Mahindra, Maruti, and so many companies average salary is 350000.
College Events
Fest is given much more response than studies by the students. In our college, there are generally three fests. Sports event in odd sem. Samavesh a technical fest in even sem and at last vassaunt cultural fest in even sem which is celebrated like an occasion in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For regular students-30000 approx of one year. For SSC students-75000 per year both excluding boarding and meal charges. Self-financing students are bound to pay more fees as their rank not eligible for admission. hence its a kind of donation which we generally give in a private college.

Yes, the college offers scholarship programs for sc, st students and students whose father have income less than 100000 per annum.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good and mesmerizing. The gender ratio is 5:4 approx. Many competitions are organized in sports and technical events with wonderful and exciting prizes. Competitions are very competitive and hard but enjoyable. Politics is done in the hostels rather than in college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good. new buildings are in progress. 3-4 students live in one room but the room size is big. bed and a study table are provided by the college. hostels are mostly hygienic but some times it is neglected.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are very helpful in times of placements. They always provide positive energy and support to the students.
Admission
It provides jobs easily. Vssut is a renowned institute, Odisha's first eng. college. Admission is done via jee the main rank and also through ojee rank through ojee counseling. Students must appear to jee or ojee entrance exams and must have minimum marks as per eligibility criteria. Two types of admissions are available according to rank SSC and regular.
Faculty
Faculty members are usually are associate professors and professors. teachers are good at some topics but it depends on the student how he/she understands the topics. Good books always help students to acquire knowledge and marks. Truth is, in engineering students' marks depend on their own study.
