Remarks

Good: Faculty is very nice and supportive, Labs are well organized, the Library is very nice and helpful, Good management of everything. Bad: there is no bad thing about college

Bachelor of Computer Application as I was having keen interest in Software development and very few Universities were offering BCA and I got admission in Merrut University and this college was near by. Score - 65%

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a bit difficult at the start but after 1st semester I start understanding the course and then it became a bit easier. Subjects were mostly of Computer applications and Maths was there in all semesters

Internships Opportunities

The college offered a variety of Internships and I got a chance to work in a multinational company for 2 internships. It was a very good learning experience working with professionals

Placement Experience

The college offered placements to all students but I wanted to do MCA so I didn't opt for placement after MCA I got an opportunity to work with a multinational company in Delhi and after working for 1yr I got the opportunity to work with a very Big company in Gurgaon

Fee Structure And Facilities

A bit expensive. My fees were approx 40000 annually in the year 2003-06.

Yes, the labs were very good, Sports were also offered by the college, we used to participate in debates and lots of other activities. The annual function was also celebrated by college and all students used to participate in that

I used to up-down from home and didn't opt for hostel.

Yes, there is an alumni network of college and I am a part of it and I have participated in the alumni for a couple of years.

Exam Structure

Like unit tests in school, We were having internals twice before every semester exam. Labs were very frequent and very helpful for all students

Very Nice and Supportive, Big classrooms but faculty were able to make every individual understand the study, and more often it was a practical session than a book study. On average, I would rage 4/5 to teachers of this college

Best for college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
