SRCOEM - Review

In all means our college is very good. In terms of placement opportunity. In terms of quality of teaching and faculties. In terms of extra curricular activities. It is good in all aspects.

Course curriculum was good not that updated but it was informative to gain enough knowledge. SRCOEM being an autonomous college follows grade system and it was fair enough. I got learning from the college to build my career. All the teaching staff was good and experienced one. We also had a good and equiped laboratories to perform our practicals. In extra curricular activities we also have ample of things to do.

As our is the best private college in town we have the best training and placement department in town. Our college provides enough opportunities to each and every student to get placed in good companies. More than 50 companies visits our campus every year and almost 100 percent students gets placed in good companies. Many of them have more than one offers in hand.

There are many such events organized by college and department both at intercollegiate level and department level. All the events have mixture of both technical and cultural. Out college annual fest is PRATISHUTI which is organized at college level with more than 1000 participant's participating in various events and compititions.

At my time our per year fees was around 1 lacs for open category students but their is a provision of fees concession to SC ST and OBC categories students as per government norms. Their is also one management quota round via that also a student can take admission in college and in our college management quota is 50% and in that also admission are given on the merit basis.

I don't have knowledge regarding the scholarship provided by college but they do have a fees concession for the SC ST and OBC categories students for that they need to submit all the required documents and proofs. Their is also a program called EBC economic backward Class via this also you can get concession in fees.

Our campus and campus life was really wonderful with all sorts of events happening every month with various compititions to participate and also inter department level compititions for the best branch of the year. Branch Cup is the main compitition for which all the students used to work. Gender ratio was almost equal. Boy's and girls both are equally treated and equally compitative.

As I was a localized I didn't opted for hostel service. But they do provide the hostel service. There is different hostel for boys and girls with twin sharing room and common washrooms. Both the hostel are inside the college campus and there are different wings for each year of student's. The annual cost of hostel and mess was around 1 Lacs.

College build a very strong relationship with their alumni. Each year they conduct alumni meet and they give invitation to all the alumni. Our senior's are very helpful to us they guides us in every possible manner for all our problems. Till now also we are in contact with our senior's.

On the basis of MHCET or AIEEE scores a centralized merit list is produced and on that merit list you can opt the college of your choice and if the vacancies are there in that college you can enroll their. Admission process starts after the merit list is produced by the governing authority and till August all the admission process gets completed.

In our course department we have around 15 teaching faculties and around 10 non teaching faculties. All the faculties are very good and experienced one. The average age might be around 35. All the facilities were highly qualified and experienced minimum they have a master degree and many of them are PhD holders.
