A GOOD COLLEGE IS FOR BETTER FUTURE

Vaagdevi college one of the top 3rd college in Warangal. Coming to college good aspect is college atmosphere and infrastructure and of course faculty and bad aspect is college will not follow updated teaching the teaching is outdated and admission process HE/SHE should pass in the class 12th with 50% and have to appear for EAMCET and have to score good marks and government fill the seats through merit basis and for lateral entry HE /SHE have to pass diploma with 50% and they have to took ECET and seats will be filled through merit basis by the govt. The reason to join in this college good environment and infra and we'll experience faculty has I was mentioned above comparing to other colleges our college is good in sports.

Coming to the course curriculum I have joined through ECET lateral entry. I have been chosen mechanical engineering because, it was a good stream of science and traditional branch so, I chose this branch for this I heard that mechanical engineering is good in this particular college so, I have been joined.coming to the faculty a very good faculty and well-experienced faculty. The lecturers are from MTECH graduates and PHD holders and some of them are undergoing PHD'S. There is 1:30 ratio for teaching and for lab session the ratio is 3:30 the teaching is good but outdated teaching methods and as I know particularly my department could not conduct seminars and TEDx speeches etc., The sem exams are for every 6-months and there would 2- mids for the sem exams for every 3-months.To pass the exams if we follow the faculty and coming to college regularly makes you pass exams.

Yes, our college provides internship from 3rd year onwards and also a workshop for every student. Some of the companies we have gone for an internship like bhel, kothagudam thermal plant,kazipet loco shed etc., And coming to the project I have seen my seniors projects like GOKart, drone and solar water heater etc.

Placements are good in our college. The placement provided from 4th year onwards the placements if very good for cse,ece and eee students. The companies which have been visited for placements are Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. And 60-70% of students got placed for every year and after completing my graduation I want to pursue an MBA is my dream

Fees will be hiked for every 2-3 years for my batch the fees is around 75000. If you get the seat you have to pay 45000 and remaining 30000 will be paid by government and for my juniors the fees structure is 85000 because of autonomous college our college is demanding this much fees. Coming to financial assistance one of my friends applied for an educational loan through the bank and from college and the college response like if we want to open educational loan we want caution from college it includes student identity and fees structure etc., It was a late taking process because of bad response from the office staff. coming to placements the Vaagdevi college of engineering is good in placements the more jobs for cse, ece and eee students but not for mech and civil.

There would annual fest and tech fest for every year. Some celebrities will come to the annual fest and entertain the students and tech fest like yantrik, expo fest etc will be conducted. We have a good library and also we have digital library and atmosphere is so silent many books for a particular branch can provide .we can get books from different authors library is one of the good advantages for our college.
