Engineering days.

College management was good although we were the first JEE batch but still college management arranged several on campus job opportunities some of the quality teachers helps us a lot. Director of the college was so passionate about the college and students thus we has always a motivation to students to follow college rules and regulations.

I have scored around 2300 in west bengal joint entracnce exam in the year 1997 the college was new but the course which I was having interest is electrinocs and telecom and that course vacant sit was available its nice location, easy to travel from home.

4 years course each year two semester third year we had industrial tour final year there was a on campus placements on TCS, HFCL, Satyam i have secured my job in off campus in TCS.

There was no internship really in the course we had a industrial tour to jamshedpur tata campus then few group of students are allocate to different location for industrial training I had a training in BSNL, Salt lake it was good.

Placement was good in both computer science and Electronics batch. Tata Consultancy Services cam and they took most of our students from both the stream also HFCL, Infosys, Satyam did off campus placements.

Fresher Welcome, Picnic, Industrial Tour, Alumina event all the events was good to celebrate i haven't part of any of the alumni as I was outside India but all my class mates participated and it was a eventful program.

Fee structure was expensive compare to other colleges during that time it was a private engineering college so each semester fee was much higher. I think if Government can sponsor something to the college to reduce its fee structure then it will be helpful some other qualified engineering students to fulfil their dream.

Till the time when we have passed no loan facility was there however college had a tie up with up universities later where students can go for higher studies after securing good results in 4 year engineering degree.

Camput life was very enjoyable and lots of study there was always new fresher recruitment program then Industrial tour, picnic which was fun along with study in electronics we had only 11 girls out of 53 students but all teachers eaqually explained all the students in all their doubts.

There was some boys hostel during that first year of the college as my home was not very far away so I used to travel daily to the college later I heard that some girls hostel facility was also arranged along with college bus facility.

We are the first batch in JEE so we are the seniors in the college although had a one batch early students before us but they are not from JEE they had a direct admission and those seniors was very nice to us.

Exam was scheduled on semester basis each year has got 2 semester and along with each semester there was a mid semester.

Faculty was very good computer and electronics branch head are basically part time teacher from jadavpur university so they are great not only the teachers are approachable but they themselves are the real mentor to follow in the college even library and lab stuff was very good and helpful.
