Remarks

College management is always supportive and teaching staff is also supportive whether you are from their branch or not.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Hindustan College has very dynamic examination system. Both theoretical and practical exams are performed. Both exams are internal and external which is very good. Colleges in which only internal exams are being taken doesn't make students better. Moving towards exam pattern Attendance, weekly assignment, cocurricular Activities carry marks. Also with monthly tests and Pre University examination makes it easy for students to face external examination. Examination is very fair and as college is affiliated to Aktu there no problem with examination. Timely industry visit is organised by college authority and students can also arrange for such visits if required.

Placement Experience

3

College plays very important role in placement but equally students are also responsible for placement. College cannot spoon feed them, but in our college you will get lots of companies to sit in and I would rate placement average. College doesn't offer internships but will provide you with relevant letters from college if required for internship.

College Events

3

College fest- Gyan Jyoti- 3 Day event and last day is celebrity day. Notable celebrities are invited. Sports Day There many events taking place from branch to branch e.g Vishvakarma Jayanti is celebrated by Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very Feasible compared to other colleges of same level. No additional fees to secure admission. Fee structure is transparent. College also helps underprivileged students in getting scholarship. Only extra fee taken is bus fees which is quite fair as college is 40 km outside from city.

Fees and Financial Aid

Canara Bank offers hassle free education loan. Repayment starts one year after the course is completed. Loan up to 4 lakhs is without guarantee.

Campus Life

4

Campus is very vast. Front lawn and a football field adds to grace of college. Multiple canteens are also present. Competitions were general activity of our college and many renowned people were invited to give lecture on many current topics. Gender ratio in engineering colleges is always low. Our college is not racist in any way and it also ragging free zone.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, I haven't opted for hostel. But, hostel premises is clean and you can opt for 1 bed 2 bed or 3 bed room. Mess provides food 3 times a day. Girls and boys hostel have separate paths and area and 24*7 security makes environment safe.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and they are still in contact with each other through various social media. Many jobs are created by alumni of our college for its students and Alumni meet keeps taking place in college.

Admission

It is better college in my region and I had researched about college before opting for it. I always wanted to be an Engineer and during first counseling session I was guided by veteran teachers about different branches. I opted for management quota hence after two counseling session seat was allotted on probation basis. If you are opting for AKTU counseling then average rank will get you admission but your branch may differ.

Faculty

3.5

Each and every faculty is not less than M. Tech and all Hod are PhD. Even lab assistants were of MSc level in our college. College has wonderful training and personality department, which I feel on personal level is best in all colleges in this area.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.
