Administration is really messy. You have to wait for hours to get a single signature or printout

Course curriculum is not good. The courses are outdated, but they are research oriented. There are several industry visits organized by some of the clubs and society, but they are only for members of that club. However one can soon get used to this course and perform really well in campus placement.

The placement of our college is amazing. The average package being 12 lpa and highest being 52 lpa. Most of the students are either placed through campus placement or PPO's.

The annual technical fest, Pantheon is held during October with participation from more than 500 colleges. The annual cultural fest BITOTSAV is held in the month of February or March and is the biggest fest of north India with more than 1500 teams participating from various colleges.

Fee structure is a bit high, but there are several scholarship programs which lighten the burden of fees a little. The payment mode is online or cheque mode. The fee-breakdown is well structured and transparent. There are NO additional fees/charges that had to be paid in order to secure an admission to your course.

I applied for government scholarship at ekalyaan for backward caste and recieved 50000 cash scholarship. The college also provides scholarship on the basis of merit and gpa

Gendet ratio in our course is 20:1, which is pretty bad. We have equipment and ground for all kind of sports. We have more than 50 labs and a whole research and development department for the management of the labs and research projects. Student diversity is huge.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. In fisrt year we are provided with a two-shared room. After first year we get single person room. Rooms are fine with a single window, single bed, cupboard, study table and common washrooms.

Our college has very broad alumni relations, with alumni CEO's of reputed companies. They are always ready to help in all possible way

I got admission in this college on the basis of my JEE Mains rank, and OBC Home-state quota. Electrical was the best branch I could get on the basis of my rank. I joined this college on 26th July. This Institute was also very close to my hometown Jamshedpur, which was one of the factors which led me to choose this college. Also, being a deemed university it has excellent placement record.

Faculty is the only thing in our college which is not something to be very proud of. The will do anything and everything to complete the course in time. Almost all of them either have a Phd or are pursuing it at the same time. The lectures dont hold any relevant industry experience.
