The management is mostly ex army personnels and the are quite strict with their rules be it hostel or college. Amity has made it mandatory for every studen to participate un a 5-day amity cadet program under which they traing you like a soldier will simulation of army drills which is quite fun and useful.

The course is well structured and has quite relevant subjects, but the subjects are getting outdated and are not as per the current industry need. But they conduct various programmes related to new technologies in partnership with other private technology companies and students can opt for those programmes by paying extra.

HCL, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft are some of the companies that visit Amity but students had to go to the main campus i. e. Amity Noida Campus to participate in the placement drives. Approximately 30-40% of students get placed from Amity Gurugram out of which the majority bis from management courses (BBA, MBA, Hospitality).

Amity organises only one major event which is their annual fest in which 4-5 colleges participate hardly as the location of college is far from the city and students hesitate in visiting it. The major highlights of that dest are fashion show, battle of bands, food joints and dance competition.

College accepts fees online and Demand draft for submission of fees. Apart from the tuition fees you have to deposit a security amout of 15000 which is refunded one year after the completion of your course. Yes the college prove a fee receipt stating the breakdown of fees.

Yes I availed a loan. Also the college offers a discount of 10 percent to students taking admission in masters program who have completed bachelor from amity itself. College does not provide any assistance in loan process. I had to do that myself. Amity provides 100% scholarship to students who have scored more than 95% in class 12 th boar exams. And 50 percent scholarship to students who have scored more than 85% in class 12th.

Campus life is the best part of amity as they have a huge campus with multiple cafes, restaurant and canteens. There are varios cultural society which you can join and they really help in shaping of your personality. There are Studenta from different countries in almost every course and no ragging or any kind of racism is tolerated or takes place. The sports complex is huge with facilities of almost ecery sports namely cricket, table tennis, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court and football ground.

No, I did not opted for hostel but the hostels are pretty good and clean. The food is average just like the average mess food. Ther charge approximately 50-60k per semester for hostel and mess charges are included in that amount.

Yes amity has an alumni program under which they offer online courses to their alumni for their professional and personal growth. Those are quite useful and free to use and they also organise alumni meetups but people hardly turn up for that as the arrangement are fairly poor.

I got admission through an exam and followed by an interview conducted by the university. Both were quite easy to crack and had some basic questions and english proficiency exam. I chose Amity because of the reputation it has regarding placement and quality of education. I got the exam date after filling the online form which costed around 1100rs in 2016.

The faculty is quite mixed lot. Some were full of knowledge while others were just fresh post graduates from the College itself and had very less experience. Nobody had any technology certifications but some senior faculties were holding phd and high level education.
