Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is relevant as we have everything covered which one needs from Advance DSA course to Personality Development workshops. I find the course curriculum to be comprehensive and good fit considering industry standards. Teaching methods can be improved by focusing more on practicals rather than theory. Exams happens twice a year , Each semester we have Mid sem exam and End semester exams. Difficulty level is normal and one can excel if studies properly.

Placement Experience

4

College placements have improved over the years and this year 24-25 was really good for the placements . Students become eligible for the placements from the 6th semester onwards for Engineering and for other courses from their Final year . This year the highest package was 50LPA given by Amazon to one of our student and the average package was 4.5 LPA and the lowest package was 3.1 LPA . Many companies visited this year and still placements are going on around 80 percent students got placed. I am also looking towards campus placement otherwise I would go for MBA from Abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for each semester is 148000. And Yearly it's 296000. Every thing is included in it no hidden charges are there . Fee for every year gets a 5 percent hike if you are paying 148000 this year than next year it will be 155000 Merit Scholarships are there if you get more than - 93 percent than 100 percent off on academic fee if you get more than 88 percent then a 50 percent waiver ( I got this one) and more than 85 precent will give you a 25 percent waiver.

Campus Life

4

Campus life at my college is really good especially the societies we have different students run societies from Debating to Dancing, Cultural to Women Empowerment we have everything here. We have 2 major fests on is Autumn Carnival which happens around October and then Amifest which happens around February each year. Also there is a Sports meet called Sangathan which happens every September. Library is without a doubt the best thing at Amity University with the vast variety of journals and infrastructure. Extracurricular are always the top priority with numerous competitions happening and we have sports all the time here.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are pretty nice you will get twin sharing room ( rooms are L shaped ) . You will get bed , almirah, chair , table , one pillow, 2 bedsheets , towel during the hostel stay. Geezers ar there and cleanliness is good. Hostel food doesn't comes under hostel fees you have to pay separately for the food and food quality is okay. It's good but expensive. You can register for hostel online via AMIZONE which is a online portal of Amity University

Admission

My score in JEE Mains exam was 88 percentile and being a general category student I was not getting anything good so I chose Amity University Haryana. I got an offer letter from Amity University Noida but due to academic fees and scholarship I stayed here. If you want to apply for admission you can apply through website and the counselor will guide you through the whole process from selecting right course to paying fees.

Faculty

3

Faculty to students ratio is good 1:40 i would say. Faculty for law and applied sciences are good but for Engineering not upto the mark. Faculties are very approachable they will always welcome you with a smiling face. Senior faculties are good and junior faculties are also nice. I personally like Dr. Sunil Sikka sir and there is one faculty i don't like Mrs. Shweta Sinha due to her attitude. Exams vary we have Mid sem exam and End semester exams both happens twice a year. Difficulty level is normal. If you study carefully you will get good grades. Attendance is really strict below 75 will leads to Backlog.

Night Life

4

Nightlife is the soul of people who are living in Hostels , curfew timings are from 9.30 PM you have to scan your face to get the attendance marked . After 9.30 you can't escape hostel. If you want to go outside you have to apply for hostel outpass which you will get from online portal called AMIZONE. We have various eatries here in the campus including a food truck and Nescafe to calm your taste buds . Cafes like Deja Brew and Dosa plaza are there and also a Departmental Store.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
