Remarks
This college is quite gray but there are a few areas which demand some attention of the college authorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The batch I am in is under the board of MAKAUT. They do provide industry specific training and also conduct seminars for giving us an insight into the campus placement offers. The curriculum is also relevant. The college has several chapters in which you need to enroll yourself. The industry visits are also organised for students.
Placement Experience
This college is known basically for it's placement offers. Companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, IBM have visited out college.
College Events
There are quite a many events in our college. We have innovacion which is the main technical event of our college. We also conducted maker's faire. The cultural event is known as iempact. Apart from this we also organise MUN sessions and various seminars and events. There are many chapters which organize specific events catering to their structure.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee Structure is quite reasonable and it remains almost constant. We pay our fees at the beginning of every semester. The college provides total transparency in the fee breakdown. We are charged an examination fee before the examinations. The mode of payments are through online (card payment,UPI,etc) and offline modes (challan,demand draft etc)
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does provide scholarship opportunities to the students. However I haven't taken any loan.
Campus Life
The gender ratios are quite fine. There are quite many competitions organised specially during the tech fest. Students are also given the opportunities to write their papers and submit it to get it published. There are many workshops organised. There is diversity specially according to the area but there is perfect harmony and tolerance too.
Hostel Facilities
We do have hostels however I live in a PG. The charge is about 6,500 every month. The quality is somewhat okayish. The security is maintained and the room is also alright, however we do have some issues regarding the quality of food at times. I don't have much idea about the hostel rate though.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is quite brilliant. The seniors are really helpful and there's no trace of ragging since it's a ragging free campus. We have alumni meets every year.
Admission
The students are admissible in this college through their rank in wbjee entrance exam. I opted for the CSE department as I felt I had a thing for coding. This college holds a history of providing good placements every year which was definitely the main reason for choosing this college.
Faculty
The faculty is quite professional. There are teacher's who have vast knowledge about their subject. We are also assigned projects which help us quite a lot in providing clarity. All the faculty members have certifications. This is a four year long course and has eight semesters.
