IIT JEE scored 116U chose this college because it was the nearest to my nouse and so I could cut down on my travelling time.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is great currently. For now as I am in the first year, we still have physics and chemistry which is still interesting. Maths is new and interesting.Working on the EVS project helped me learn a lot.
Internships Opportunities
Generally the companies taking part in the internship program generally come during our technical fest - Abhiyantriki .The procedure for selection is very smooth and they judge you on the basis of your previous work and then you can start helping them out by the next week itself.
Placement Experience
As I am in the first year so I really dont know much about the placements and their pakages. But some of the companies that come are Morgan Stanley, Accenture, TCS, Infosys etc . Morgan Stanley generally offers an average package of 4to5 lac pa , TCS 4 lac pa etc. The highest package given last year was for about 20 lac pa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is just moderate. The total fee is about 1.23 lakhs .It should have been lower for the service they provide because they dont even have an air conditioner in the computer lab.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a loan facilty offered under the tution fee waiver scheme. About 10percent of the seats are reserved for this facilty. So the students whose family income is less than about 6 lakh per year can avail this facility and take the benefit of the same.
Campus Life
The campus life is great .The college has a huge campus. There is a seprate ground for football, cricket,volleyball and running. The badminton court is also present. There is no gender discrimination.The college also strongly supports an antiragging policy .The workshops are also well equiped.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided by this college is just alright. The fee for rooms is 34 thousand For food is 21 thousand and 10 thousand for deposit. There aren't really any problems as such. The rooms are a bit small. And the rooms can either be used for a single person or shared till upto 4 people.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is quite chilled out and is generally made while keeping the comfort of the students in mind. We have two small test before each semester.And even for the semester exams we are given enough days to prepare.
Faculty
Faculty is great.Very helppful and loving.They always require discipline and are always ready to help us when we are in any need.Pritam maam for BEE is great. Rachna for FCPDrumil for ChemistryDesai sir for maths.
