Overall , KJSCE is a good college to be a part of.Also , its on the rise since it was granted autonomy and hence the future orientation looks bright.
Entrance Preview
Entrance Exam : MH-CET , 2012 Score : 119/200 Reason : Its among the best engineering colleges in Mumbai. It is a well reputed college that provides good opportunities.
Internships Opportunities
I didn't apply for an internship.The college provides various internship opportunities across a host of companies and profiles, both paid and unpaid.General stipend for paid internships is about Rs.3500 per month.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is good. A very high percentage of students seeking placements get placed. College Events
The festivals are annual and are very well managed.They are quite popular and attract large crowds. The large campus is a boon during festival times and adds to the experience. Tech fest : Abhiyantriki (Last week September)Cultural fest : Symphony (mid February) Sports fest : Scream (same as Symphony).
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees work out to 5.5L+ for the 4 years. (1.2L , 1.3L , 1.4L , 1.5L ) Its a bit expensive as compared to the other colleges. Scholarships are available.

Scholarships are available. Class toppers get their fees waived. TFWS is a separate quota (6 students / 150) (for economically backward).
Campus Life
Hostel life is good and smooth.Festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm.Sports facilities are excellent. The is a football field , an olympic running track ,a badminton court , a tennis court, and a cricket field.Lots of workshops are held regularly. Various societies exist and are very active. Gender ratios are above average.Strict anti-ragging policy.Tolerance is excellent. No discrimination whatsoever.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are old but functional. 3 students share a room.Hostel rules are enforced strictly. Multiple (5+) canteens spread across the campus. Quality is good in general.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is strong.Senior students conduct some excellent workshops for the juniors(android/ios/website development), This also includes placement training workshops.
Exam Structure
Since autonomy , the exam structure has been revamped. The exams are completed earlier and consequently provides a lot of free time for internships etc (5-6 weeks off in the same year. December=vacation) The time tables are scheduled to have a lab session on each day. Overall, its very efficient and way ahead of Mumbai University.
Faculty
A vast majority of the faculty members have more than 7 years of teaching experience. The core subjects are assigned to the most proficient and experienced teachers. Overall, the faculty members have very good knowledge and are very helpful.
