My Review

College management is quite good and helping. The results are also declared with much pace and with high accuracy such that no students has to suffer for their future career. They are also very helpful and organises many seminars and exhibitions that will be helpful for students to get an insight of the future assessments that will come to their way in near future. The management helps students to overcome all the hurdle during their studeis in the college.

The curriculum is very well organized, because it is totally industry specific with regular paractical sessions being provided by the college. As the college comes under BPUT, so the exams are conducted by them. The city of dhenkanal is well surrounded by industries of coal and steel. Therefore the students get a chance for industrial visits. Often there are free rides to industries such that students can get a brief idea about the culture and working of the companies.

The placement Scenario is not that good because as the college is situated in a remote area with forest covering the greater part of it. So many companies don't come for recruitment. But there are still some local companies that comes for recruitment and provide good posts to the Freshers.

There are many cultural events that takes place. Most of the major events are VISTAAR, HORIZON, UTSAHAN, and much more to name. There are also many other fun events that takes place on the department as well. The faculties conducts some puzzle games which the students have to solve and the other teachers also participate in the games.

As the college is a government college, so the fees are quite low and the students can easily pass their degree with minimal amount of money to spare. Our course had 70000 rupees as each semester charges. There are also some lab fees as well as maintenance fees but still overall the money is quite less in comparison to other colleges.

There are also some scholarship that are available to students who has a family income less than 6 lakhs. Which helps many students to cover up their expenses. So of the scholarships are PRERNA and MEDHABRUTI. They provide an amount of 10000 for the whole year which can be considered as low but still it helps certain students to get rid of some months monthly expenses.

The campus life is very smooth. There are Greenary everywhere and it is free from metro pollution. We can breathe fresh air and enjoy the nature to its full extent. Gender ratio is 50:50 There are many extra-curricular activities that takes place in the campus. All students are free to participate in the annual athletic meets and show their talents. The labs are quite good with all the available equipments in good condition and the lab assistants are also friendly in nature. Some robotics events also are a part of tech fest's that are organised by our college annually.

The hostels are very good. As some of the hostels are newly made, they look so beautiful even from inside as well as outside. There are even double and single rooms available for students and they can opt for any hostel they would like to stay even by sharing with other students or by staying individually whichever they like to do will be as per their convenience.

Yes, there are many alumnis that are in touch with our college and frequently helps their juniors in prospect of jobs and guidance for future. We have a strong connection with our alumni thereby making our steps into industries quite easy. This is by far the most important factor that has been provided by the college as they keep contact with the alumni which helps the future generations to secure a good job in the industry.

As a science student, I always had a passion for electronics, so I wanted to join electronics related courses in an University. For this, I started searching for good Universities that provide bachelor's degree for electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Then I came to know about IGIT Sarang. Its a beautiful college with forest covering it's one-fourth part and the othe part is surrounded by river. It's just the best atmosphere for a student who want to dedicate his four years for the sake of study. I had given JEE Main from where I got the selection offer by my rank card. Though it's a little tough to get into this college but with much dedication, one can get an admit to this college.

The faculties have PhD degees which justifies their knowledge. Not only they are helping in nature but also tries to give knowledge as much as they can. They maintain a healthey relationship with all the students and also participate in all the sports thereby making their bind stronger with the students.
