Durgapur College genuine review

College overall good. But it depends on you how you utilise it. Your main focus should be study and thereafter friendship and all. There would be many things which can divert you from the track but you need to be focused.

There ar in total 8 semester exams which are totally external type. Question papers are set by University. Exam is held in college itself. Exam is conducted fair and free from any malpractices.also in each semester there are two internal exams(also known as seasonal exams)

Placement is kind of good type but you cannot rely whole and sole on college fir placement. Specifically for core branches like Mechanical, electrical, civil engineering. In software and it branches like computer science, information technology, ECE etc. many software companies comes for recruitment drive.

There are many other events that are being celebrated in the college. You will see that there are three clubs in the college namely, NSS, E-cell, and Robonixx. They have their fest once in a year. To be precised I was in Robonixx club which dealt with robotics bit autonomous and manual. Nss mainly deal with social services. E cell is entrepreneurship cell.

Fee Structure is not that high as compared to colleges in othe state. Semester fee is around 40 to 45 thousand which less as compared to other private colleges in other states. There is no any other hidden charges. If you opt for hostel and you have to pay extra 30 thousands per semester

Education loan can easily be available. You need to get the prescribed fee structure from the college. And then you can consult your nearest branch for loan. They will easily provide you with the education loan.

Females are very less in core branches like Mechanical electrical and civil engineering. But in cse and it there the gender ratio is quite balanced. Students are basically from Bihar Jharkhand and bengal. There and all types of students. You need to choose whome you want to be with.

Yes. There are common type and attached bathroom type room. If you want to opt for attached bathroom type room you van go for it. But is comparatively costlier. But the facilities is also good in attached rooms

To be frank Alumni network is not that good in this college officialy, but yes you will connected with your batchmates, seniors and juniors through various social media platforms if you want to be. And also they help in you future endeavours.

I had appeared for wbjee-2013. I secured 11000 rank in it. I had previously made up in my mind that i would opt for mechanical engineering. So i began to search for good mechanical engineering college in west bengal. With my rank and previous year counselling rank i got this college as a best college for mechanical engineering. Also my friend's brother has passed from this college only with same branch. So i consulted him also and finally I chose this college.

Faculty can be assessed quite easily. There are enough numbers of classes for each subject. Also practical classes and workshops are sufficient enough for learning. Teachers are always present for your doubt clearing in their free times. Teachers are very friendly
