I I don't have any bad remarks about the College as far as my knowledge and my stay here is concerned.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes,there are relevant, research-driven teams and courses. The College is equipped with well trained and qualified teaching staffs which is a great advantage and privilege for the students as a whole, with a lot of Ph.D staffs and other well qualified staffs.
Placement Experience
The College does not have or provide placement opportunities though it invites business people and entrepreneurs to the College for empowerment and enterpreneur skills which is a very good thing about the College. It also provides skill based short diploma courses too.
College Events
The College celebrates lots of events and programmes.Some of them are 1.The Orientation Day 2.The Fresher's Day 3.The Annual Graduation Day 4 The Convergence Festival 5.The Eureka Science Fest 6.The Annual College Week cum Sport's Week 7.The Annual Spring Festival
Fee Structure And Facilities
Well, the fee structure are quite normal like the other colleges and are quite affordable taking into consideration the College offers those great facilities. There are no additional fees which are to be paid at the time of admission. Though there are some collections for various events and respective Departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the time of filling up of State Scholarship form fill up, the hostel also provides an additional hostel form where you can attach it to your Scholarship form.In this way you can get an extra scholarship of about Rs.1000 or 2000.
Campus Life
The gender ratio of the Main hostel is quite equal with about 300 male and 300 female dwelling in hostel. The Hostel too conducts lots of fun activities and also spiritual activities too.Some of them are the Annual Hostel picnic, the pre Christmas celebration, the Fresher's Day, the Farewell or send off programme for the seniors also the Annual College Retreat.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for a hostel. The College maintains and run four hostels (Three for girls and one for boys). The hostel is really affordable and has really great facilities and opportunities which you can access, ranging from sports to music and to academics too. It also has a Campus Church where we can develop and maintain our spiritual life too.
Alumni/Alumna
The College has an Alumni Association. It is an association which maintains and records the passed out students for fostering and helping the growth and development of the Institution.
Admission
The entrance exams are not conducted.Merit students are selected directly for admission while the rest are interviewed. I chose this college because I feel it suits me and my study.The college offers a great variety of courses like other colleges so you don't need to go out for studies.
Faculty
The College offers a wide variety of courses with each Lecturer specialised in their respective subjects. The colleagues consists of both the teaching and non teaching staffs (Laboratory Assistant, Office Clerks and even trained medical staff too), which makes the College one of the best in North East India.
