Remarks

Though my rank was not that good and one of my friend's brother used to study here and I have heard good things about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had heard about the placement and faculty of this college is very good, and also b.tech is what I wanted to do so this college was a good option for me, student ratio was about 20:40 girls: boys.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Since I have spent two years in this college as of now I feel I can say about this, will keep it brief though so if you talk about the placement of IT and CSE it is pretty good, even if you are an average student you can expect a placement at the end I can't say that for the other department.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are on the low end as a comparison to many of the college, and the fee structure that has been provided to us at the very start is what we have to pay all throughout this year.

Campus Life

Initially, when I came the infrastructure was not very well but through the years college is becoming more beautiful the ground, canteen everything is good.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
