Remarks

Till now the college had been very good providing good education to the people. Even today its stands in top 2 Considering RV as top1 Now PES have become university and I am hearing they are doing very good.

Entrance Preview

I took CET exams, after my diploma course in PVP polytechnic mallathalli. I scored 7th rank in CET exams. Since pesit was best college for computer science I chose this college over RV.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since when i did my engineering the course syllabus was under VTU. It was intermediate. Not so difficult easy. The course covered all the technical subjects like basics computers, microprocessor, data structure,c, c++, java, algorithm and many others.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't have any internships. But they had 2 associated companies inside the college campus where the college projects would be undertaken.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are very good. Every student in the college would get placed. They have a concept of Tier 1-2-3 where the companies are strucuted in a way that services companies are placed in tier 3. Some MNCs are in tier 2. And very good companies comes under tier 1 Tier 3 companies like infosys, tcs, wipro etc were offering somewhere below 3.75lakhs per annum.Tier 2 companies like Siemens, emc,Symphony,Target, nds, netapp were offering somewhere between 3.75 to 7 lakhs per annumTier 1 companies like Google,Amazon,Yahoo,Cisco were offering above 7lakhs.

College Events

4.5

Every year there would be couple of functions happening in college. Technical festivals, cultural festivals. Games, mad ads, skill hunt, gaming competition. There was a function called at home which was very famous and people from different parts of India used to come and participate. There will be chief guest like rockstars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure were little expensive. Since we were from Visveshwarayha Technology university (Vtu) we had good fee structure. They had free seats and donation seats. Free seats were somewhere around 18k per year and donation are around 2laks. The donations were so expensive may be it was quoted by college management. But government seats were through CET exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such loans available from college. But there were some award concept every semester. Whoever getting distinction were awarded a Dictinction award. And also top 5 students of each semester would get 5k cash award.

Campus Life

5

Campus life like I said was pretty good. There were many functions, social activities, cultural activities were happening every year. There used to be a code competition and gaming, music, painting etc. The college was coeducational which never did partiality among the genders. Which was always same for everyone.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was never part of hostel life in my college. Since I am localite. But hearing from our friends seems the hostel is very good and strict. But the food quality was always a complaint in this regard. The hostel timing was very strict and they never used to

Alumni/Alumna

Even now they have a alumni meet yearly once. Which will bring us sweet memories. The alumni meet happens twice every year. Once on independence day and another one on republic day. Every student will get a mail notification to our personal mail ids. And some of them will turn up attending the function and making sure the function get success. Senior students are verychelpful when it comes to placements. They were helping us always to get into a good company.

Exam Structure

The exams were pretty good structured. Every exam will get a day off to prepare and revise well for the next day. Which will give students some time to prepare and get the topics revised before appearing for Exam. Labs exams were also placed in alternativ

Faculty

4

Faculty were good. Few were just college pass out and never had teaching experience. But overall the coaching was good and student supportive. They also had one on one special trainings for student who are below the par which gave good confidence for the
