Every college has its good and bad component but what is better is that as per the present scenario the student has to perform better so that they get the placement in the best companies available. Also, you have to be better at proving yourself.

Bengal College of Engineering offers degree programmes to candidates at the undergraduate (UG) level. Programmes offered at Bengal College of Engineering are in streams including – Engineering. The college aims at providing quality higher technical education to create promising future technocrats of India. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated with MAKAUT (Formerly WBUT), Kolkata.

The placement over here is good. Companies approaching the colleges are offering a minimum package of 3 lacs per annum. The number of software visiting are more core companies. But still, the students of core branches are getting placed. The major companies which come for placement are Tech Mahindra, Think And Learn, SAP Labs, ASilico with quite suitable packages. The college also provides references to the students who are eligible for it.

The college celebrates various events each year, the e-cell of our college organises e fest which is of a 7-10 days in these many events like tech talk, hackathon, etc were organized, there's also a robonixx club they too organise their event that is very interesting and encouraging. The team Nss holds the role of cultural development they help the poor people of the society by organising different programs like paper drive, blood donation camp etc to help poor people which is a very good initiative by our college.

The college fee is very feasible, it's around 3. 58 lac for 4 years BTech program, the college accepts payment through different modes like demand draft, card payment, by cash. There are no extra charges that the college asks for admission only you have to pay the 1st semester fee. Yes, the college provides a fee.

No, I haven't opted for any type of scholarship but I have taken the education loan. I didn't know that the college offer scholarship or not.

The gender ratio is very good in our college and the campus life is very satisfying you don't need to worry there's no ragging in our college, based on many aspects. so don't panic you are safe here. college club robonixx organises their event every year in which new and innovative design robots were designed that helps students encourage in this field.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel. overall experience is good our mesh is good and they provide you the hygienic food, but the mesh is pure vegetarian so there's no chance of getting nonveg. Hostel rooms are also good, each room consists of two person, there's no chance of not getting the hostel so be relaxed if you want to be in the hostel. if you want to take a room outside then you can take it with your friend average rent is around 7-8k a month of a good flat. There's no pg for boys, they have a bed system. PG are available for girls.

Senior is very helpful they keep us supporting and guide us for the proper path that could get us success in our life. Teachers are also very helpful they clear all our doubts despite being asked for many times. they keep us encouraged and motivated.

Through the entrance exam. I didn't remember the exact date through wbjee entrance exam I got admission. The college is situated in a very good location free from pollution and noise. The college is free from ragging. There are not activities of ragging or disturbing new/junior students because the management is strict regarding this matter.

The faculty members are helpful, cooperative and understanding. They are always ready to help the students, not only in the class but during the off-hours also. The teachers always make sure that the syllabus is finished on time, take tests, and clear the doubts of every student. Teachers are very supportive and always encourage the student. Teachers motivate the student to do new stuff and come up with innovative ideas. The course curriculum is useful but the teachers also provide extra knowledge to the students.
