Remarks
In a nut shell it is a good college to study your engineering. Though its not an IIT or NIT its a good college which hold its own. Good hostel and a welcoming students is what you would ve expecting in this college.
Entrance Preview
The admission is being done by single window system arranged by Anna university based on our 12th board exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year curriculam is pretty general with basics of engineering with other departments subjects as well. From second year onwards a full dive into your streams with labs theories and seminars. You'll get to choose from various options from 5th semesters.
Internships Opportunities
I don't think we had too much of internship from companies visiting the college. We need to get to companies and try our own way to get the internship dine with proper approval. College won't provide them.
Placement Experience
Major recruitment us from IT and overall its a college with good campus interview opportunities. Apart from this there are various off campus opportunities as well which the companies hold.
College Events
Each year we have many department level functions with technical symposiums. Annual day and sports day functions are also on as well. Overall we have many opportunities to show our skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is as designated by government. There are added fees like placement training and book fees. Hostel fee will be 20k and mess fee is 2500k per month approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
Just a scholarship for first graduate from government can be availed. Apart from that not many scholarship schemes are not there. If you are a topper then you'll be given some subsidies.
Campus Life
I really had a good time with college because of the infrastructure that was on offer. The green clean environment is such a great place to be in. Sports are given importance as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty good with good rooms. Mess food is average and it is not bad. Each hostel is haveing enough people to clean and serve food. Also there are televisions and a browsing center as well.
Alumni/Alumna
They have a good get together with alumnis and various coms with passed out students are also happening. Once in a year an alumni function with a single passed out batch will he held.
Exam Structure
Its a chilled out one with only three internal and one external exam. We will be haveing practical exams as well which has both modal and external.
Faculty
All the professors are ME graduates. Some of them are Ph.D holders. The standard of teaching is good. There would be lots of learning we need to do ourselves as well.
