Remarks

The college management should work on fee structure and good placements. Rest, everything is good in the college. The faculty/management are very friendly and kind to help with any problems coming your way.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is quite wide covering 6 subjects in each semester upto 7 semesters. The first year is common for all branches whether mechanical, civil, computer science, electronics. Then starting from second year we are taught basics of coding and then in simultaneous years - we are taught with proper coding languages like C++, Java, AI, machine learning etc. The course is quite relevant. We have internship in college for first 3 years to have projects in practical and last year - 8th sem is mandatory internship through any corporate company. The internship part is quite research driven and help in analyzing practical stuff better.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of college is fair and fine, not very excellent. They had some good companies lined up like IBM, infogain, yamaha, Indigo etc. But the bulk hiring companies like TCS, infosys, accenture were not in place now. But 60-70% students got placed in some or the other companies, specially from IT background. Some of them got placed through off campus drives which were told by college faculties. Some of the companies had their own exams to pass through. Internships part is quite interesting in the college, with TCS, IBM - Bluemix as part of it in initial years of the course.

College Events

5

The college has their annual fest, with great music bands, stand up comedians coming over on the day. They also have star nights with bollywood actors coming up, last year they had Ayushmann khurana over there. The EDM night in the fest is the best of all, with Sunburn artist over there. The other events are cultural events, festival celebration events, there are also different societies made up to participate in events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure stands somewhat expensive, which is around 2 lacs/annum, accounting to 8 lacs for the whole course. This is somewhat expensive if we compare to annual average packages of student. The fees are to be paid semester wise and can be paid through DD only. No cash is allowed for such a huge amount or cheques. The fee breakdown is transparent however, but tuition fees is around 75, 000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn’t opt for any education loan, but hdfc/icici banks banners are outside the college to avail these facilities and the interest rates are quite low for the same.

Campus Life

5

The campus life was great over there, with 5-6 canteens in place, labs for every sort of subject, party halls for freshers and farewell to have in place. The gender ratio was 60:40 males:females. And there were students from Sri lanka, australia, kenya etc. And everyone was quite well with them. There are various society clubs you can join in like dramatics, robotics, debates, sports etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No I was a localite and didn’t opt for Hostel. But some of my friends had taken hostel room, the hostel room was well furnished and tidy room. The breakups of hostel room for charges were around 80, 000 for cooler room and 1 lac for ac room. The hostel room was available for twin / triple sharing and prices were a bit higher for twin sharing.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quite helpful, whether it is having notes for the tough subjects, having to explain something which they are firm with. Helping with teachers for internal marks to which they are friendly with. Passing on their books to us and many more fun trips to add on in this.

Admission

1. The admission was on the basis of marks of Jee mains exam, wherein you can directly go or apply on their website. There is also last round of physical seats allocation. 2. You can apply on their website or call them to get the admission form and your personal details and score in 10th, 12th, Jee exam for btech/bca courses. 3. Hopefully, you will get seat if you have average score/marks, otherwise last option is physical seat allocation. 4. The college infrastructure, faculty, labs etc. Are fine, and you can state the same as one of the good private college. 5. Admission starts after jee mains result and 12th result, in June mid around 15th. The final seats allocation closes in July around 15-16th.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty is quite nice, and are Post graduated or PhD’s holder for some tough specific subjects. The faculty have a zeal to see students with flying color marks. The average age for faculty accounts at 35-40 years. The labs are usually taken by senior resources of the college to have better practicals. The lectures taken by each faculty in a week is around 6-7 lectures, each with duration of 50 minutes. The time suffices what lecturer wants to put across.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
