The life changing Experience

At the time I passed out you have to clear GUJCET + 12th Board but now changed to JEE + 12th Board marks.

Curriculum was same as IIT level. Gujarat Technological University used to make the syllabus as well as conducting all the external exams.There are some elective subjects which we can select as per our interest in each semester.

Many companies came in that i was selected in Panamax which offered stipend of 8000 per month. Other than this many students got much more than this as big names like Essar , TCS , Tech-Mahindra , Patni and many more came for the cause.

The highest package was around 8.5 lakhs and other than this companies Navy and Army also came for UES entry.

Xenesi, The biggest event of the college tech-fest as well as cultural event which lasts for about 5 days and students from the whole nation comes to participates. Other than many big events occur in the separate departments as well. In CSE dept. events of IEEE and CSI were usual thins.

50000 per year in 2008-2012But now may b over around 80000 to 85000 each year but i don't know the exact figure. But mostly it is around 85000 plus bus fee as most of the students were from ahmedabad.

Yes there were many scholarship were given by state govt. as well as the college as the college was not fully private. I don't have much knowledge of the scholarship as I have never tried to avail it.

Labs was good specially workshops. Cultural Society's very active because there were Other colleges besides my college like DAIICT and NIFT. Sports activities were limited. Sex ratio was 50-50 in CSE.

The fees of the hostel was less so the quality of the hostel was not as good as it should be.While the hostel rooms were average and have to share upto five people and fees was around 18000 per year including mess bill.

Yes there is separate n/w for the students and because this many reunions were possible. There is the separate section for the students in the website for alumni and complete information as well.

The exams was the external one because college was affiliated to Gujarat Technological University so all exams were conducted by GTU. GTU conducts exams for most of engineering colleges in Gujarat .

The Faculty was big plus point of this college. There were helpful not only to curriculum activities but also co-curricular activities. They always encouraged us write our own research papers and also helped a lot in doing it as well.
