Overall, I personally believe that every individual can pursue good knowledge from anywhere only if he/she wills to talking about my college it provides every know of facilities that a student requires to buildup his carrier.

Coming to the course curriculum, the course provided to the student is as per the updated requirement of the industries or companies. Though the college doesnot have the availability of all the branches like aeronautical, chemical engineering, etc but it provides good quality of education from highly educated professors who are good at what they do. Like every other college, this institution has its pros and cons. Pros are that it provides quality education, conducts every type of study programs, provides internships, arranges for research programs but coming to the cons I should definitely mention that the lecture provided is for 100mins straight and when u have 3 lectures for the day, it becomes difficult to concentrate, but now the lecture time is reduced to 60min after continuous request from students. Apart from this the student gets every kind of facility that he seek from the institution. The institution help a lot in grooming the student for his/her better future. The institution also maintains good bond with the companies as it provides well qualified students with the knowledge they need.

Every year the college conducts summer intership programs for students to pursue so that they can upgrade their skills for their future purpose. The internships are on various courses relating to every branch and as per the updated requirement skills of the companies/industries. Coming to the interviews and placement, the institute always promises to place maximum students but atlast it depends on the student that how he delivers. The institute brings good companies which tries to provide scope to every student. The institute arranges for extra classes in the final year for improvement your aptitude skills, English and other necessaries for your interview. It also conducts mock interviews so that the students can improve and prove themselves when it's come to the placement interviews.

Every year the institution conducts 2 events, which relates both technical and cultural. One event named Sankalp is conducted mostly in the month of January and this event is for 2 days where the institution provides various platforms, so that maximum number of students may perform. The events include roborace, roboboxing, questocode, quizes, etc for the first day and for the seconday day is mainly for results of the conducted programs and the night of the second day there will be a DJ to freshen the mood of the students. The 2nd event named WAVES is conducted mainly in August or September, this event is mainly for students where the institute conducts various competitions for singing, dancing, modelling, various games like basketball, table tennis, Tennis, etc. Apart from this the institution arranges for trekking once in a year. Our institution also provides a chance for hiking where every year interest students get a chance to climb himalayas.

The fees structure is very economical and the normal fees is of 1. 2 lakh per year but the institute provides various type of scholarships so that the students who can't afford can get help. The college accepts every mode of payment like card, cash, draft, check, etc. The fees includes your academic fees, transportation fees, book fees. The institution charges additional fees for food, hostel facilities, events which are also considered as low when compared other good colleges.

No, but the college provides various scholarships to the students who actually need it. The institute provides a TFW system where the student has to pay only 40000 annually but it comes with certain conditions like the students parents' annual include should be low and the student should have got a decent JEE rank. Apart from this the institution provides other scholarships to those who perform well in their academics.

The ratio can be approx like 1. 5:2. 5 or can say 1:3. The institution belives that no student must be discriminated and all should be treated equal. The institution does not tolerate any kind of indiscipline whether it may be a boy/girl/others. The institution conducts various extracurricular activities like parasailing, watersports, ropeclimbing, etc. With the academics the institution also conducts classes for yoga and sports by which everyone can say that the institute also take care of mental health. Coming to the labs and infrastructure, the labs are conducted regularly or you can say daily and a student gets updated infrastructure from any sight.

No, I haven't opted for hostel but I do visited the hostel maximum times as I have a chance to go to my friends rooms. The hostel is well maintained and spacious. Each room is allocated for 5 students. There is also a chance for allocation of room only to a single student if he performs well both in academics and other activities. Though the hostel room does not contain AC's but it is well ventilated enough so that air can pass through as there is an empty surrounding. The hostel provides basic facilities like watersupply, 24*7 electricity, well maintained washrooms, daily cleaning of rooms by labours. But the food charge is additional. Overall, I can say that a student all the basic necessities that are essential for the daily life.

The institution maintains a good connection with students and arranges various alumini programs every year to stay in continuous touch with students. It also arranges for some lectures where the alumini gets a chance to share his/her experience to the students so that it will be helpful for students to grasp knowledge from their seniors experiences.

After completion of 12th, like every other student I was also preparing for my entrance exam (JEE Mains). I got decent marks to get into any institution. The reason why I chose NIST is for 3 good reasons: Education was good, Lab facilities and the faculty were good, and the last is my personal reason is that it is situated in my native place. The steps to get into this college are that the student have to give an entrance exam and you should opt for this college during counselling. You will be getting seat depending on JEE rank and the availability of seats in your selected branch.

The lecturers are well qualified in their own streams. Each and every faculty have their full knowledge on what they achieved and what they deliver. The age is mainly between 35-55. The lecturers promise to deliver good quality of education by teaching the students each and every fundamentals to understand a particular subject. In case of doubt they try to their fullest to make a student understand and help in solve the doubts. Even then if you are not able to clear your doubt, the student can go to lecturer personally and clear the doubt whenever it's possible. The lecturers also help the students in taking various new projects of students interest, also in research fields, and guide them both professionally and personally.
