My Review

Our college management is good. Our college faculty take very care.

The course curriculum and exam structure is relevant. We have 40 to 50 subject in the our course. These subject is devided into the semester. In each semister there are approx 6 to 7 subject. We have to gave 2 internal on each semister for each subject. and 1 semester exam. and we have to gave workshop exam. In the course of B Tech you have to took internship or practical training at any company. There are is NPTEL exam, Which is very helpful for your future life.

Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tata Consultancy Services, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Tata power, IndusNet, Capgemini, Media. net, IEM, Airbus, S. K. Samanta &Co. (P) Ltd, Infosys, Employ etc company games our college. Steps are quantative aptitude, programing, coding test, E-mail writing, Group discussion etc. Approx 80%students are placed every year.

We celebrate teachers day in every year. We organise Jeclat which is the biggest program in North Bengal and held technical fest Sristi. we organise Saraswati puja, Vishwakarma puja and Holi. Big big celebrity comes in Jeclat to perform like Fossils, Akrity kakkar etc.

The fee structure is feasible. We have to paid 1200 for exam fee. and 207 rupees for electric bill. 5000 rupees per sem. Aprox 12000 rupees will be paid in hostel in each sem. The mode of payment accepted is demand draft and money transfer. Cash is not acceptable in any times. No, the college does not provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

I don't Opted for any scholarship or education loan. The college offer scholarship opportunities to students. These opportunities got those students whose annual income is less than 2. 5 lakh. Interviewer take interview of eligible students.

Campus life is awesome. It will always remain in my memories. After passed degree I miss my campus life. Gender ratio in our college is 70/30. There are various type of labs like Basic electrical lab, Programing lab. There are different type of workshop like welding shop, forging shop, pattern shop etc. There will held robotics and debate competition in every year in the fest.

In our college there are 4 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. In every hostel room has around 80 rooms and 3 students and sometimes 2 students are allowed in every room. In 4th year 1 room is allowed for 1 students. Room condition is much better and free lan connection is provided.

Alumni and senior students are very helpful. They helped us by giving gate materials and share his/her experience.

I gave entrance exam and got a rank. Then I sit in the mock counseling and gave various type of college name and department. Based upon the rank I got Jalpaiguri government engineering college. Then I go college in the date like 6/06/2018 with affidavit and demand draft of fees and got the admission.

Tentative number of lecturers depend on our semister. 3 subjects in 1st sem, 5subject in 2nd sem, 6subject in 3rd sem and 6subject in 4th sem. Avarage tentative no of lecturers are 7to 8 in every semister. Our faculty took care about the students. Teachers are clear all the doutes.
