Getting into dsbm is like once in a lifetime opportunity once one enters here or gets admission he/she shall never think of ever leaving it. It would feel like why not we spend our whole life here only.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is under the guidance of utkal university and based on CBCS pattern i.e choice based credit system generally there is an opportunity of getting exposure to different talkfest, industrial tour and convocations which are great for enhancing the skills and industrial tour are also held to know better about any industry which is helpful for getting placements during the fourth sem of this course.
Placement Experience
Recently Godrej and Boyce visited for campus recruitment and Deloitte also. students eligible for the placement drive are trained prior to the tentative placement drive date to perform better at the placement drive. some paid internships are also available.
College Events
Our institute conducts dsbm genesis which is a mega event and schools from all over the state participate in it.bhavyata which is the annual function is held every year with the full cooperation of students and both teaching and non-teaching staff. Accounting wizard is a grand financial quiz event of utkal university was conducted in dsbm.A panel discussion for the budget is conducted every year with great financial masterminds and geniuses as a part of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees now are 225000 which can be paid through an app of edufix by hdfc like online shopping or through credit or debit cards but in some special cases, the cash or cheque may be allowed. each year it is 75000 which is divided into 3 installments of payment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college did not have such a policy of providing scholarships for the student's Loan is also not required maybe but I did not opt for it.
Campus Life
The campus life was worth remembering and hard to forget. Both genders have equal opportunities. There were various clubs like the literary club, financial club, economics club, and computer club. An introvert would also get changed in this environment. There is no chance of politics hold.
Hostel Facilities
No, I haven't opted but in a hostel room, 3 persons can easily and comfortably live in that room.The food is also good as compared to most of the hostels. It is a well-maintained hostel with a good ventilation system.
Alumni/Alumna
The college seniors were like our own elder brothers and sisters, the alumni network of our institute is very strong i.e we still have a link with the alumni of all batches.
Admission
First, you have to fill a form based on the percentage scored in +2, second, you have to give a written, gd,pi on a date provided after verifying the documents provided along with the form, basically, in the month of April the forms are out and during the month of May, the entrance and tests are conducted. The new sessions start from July onwards
Faculty
All the faculties are highly trained and have got enough knowledge to understand and maintain the clarity of the thoughts of the students. generally, 4-5 lectures of one hour each are conducted per day. The students are allowed to use the computers and get the teachers even after the college gets over till 5 pm.
