Road to Excellence

I choose DSBM after a whole lot of research from my friends and family. I was looking for three things in my future college, which was good faculty members, affordable quality of education and activities, events for me to participate in. As a 1st semester student, I am yet to experience a lot of things in my college and on top of that the pandemic has made things difficult for us students but our faculty members have made sure that we don't face any severe problems.

At present, our college offers two courses of bachelor degree in management and commerce [BBA and BCOM (Hons)] which is in demand/ trending in the market. Faculty members are very experienced, understanding and supportive of students. Six semesters are there, in each semester internal exams of 20 marks are conducted by the college and 80 marks of final exams are conducted by the Utkal University.

From the 6th semester onwards students get eligible for campus placement. As I am a fresher I don't have much knowledge regarding campus placement, but what I have heard from my seniors is that various MNCs like Godrej and Asian Paints visits our campus. As I want to pursue an MBA I will not be working after my graduation.

As I mentioned earlier, one of the main reasons I choose DSBM was because of its affordable quality of education for a private institute. I don't have the information regarding the hike policy, but in our batch, the annual fee is Rs 2,55,000.

Our college always carries out various events for students to develop various skills and abilities. All our fest, events are managed by the students so, they will get a chance to learn new things for their future. We have all the basic amenities and every classroom is fully Air-conditioned.
