My Review

In short I say that college of engineering and management is best place for those students which are coming form average background which are not having a huge amount of money to invest on their career and having a passion to labour and learn. Talking about college management that is decent, I didn't feel and kind of trouble from them, they all are very supportive.

Well yes, mainly college follows curriculum of makaut (Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of technology) and also affiliated from it. The curriculum bis little bit outdated but this college provide lot of options the students which helps students to get industry-specific knowledge. That is very helpful for the organisations. Also college very helpful for on-campus placements, start-up as well as multinational companies are come for providing the placement. Yes, every year college organised industrial visit for third and fourth year students.

The placement in our college is about 95%, the students of branches like computer science, information technology and electrical and communication engineering are get most number of placement with respect to mechanical, electrical and electrical and instrumentation engineering. Also college is very conscious about the internship, our respective faculties always motivates us regarding this and provide the best plateform to do so. Yes institution has special section for the preparation for students placements specially for third and fourth year student.

Almost all events celebrated in this college the most major event is technical and cultural fest which mainly organised by third year student in the month of February to April every year. This is 4 days celebration 2 days technical fest, one day reat and again 2 days cultural fest. In the technical fest their are huge number of students from other colleges, University takes part in this event and shows their talent to everyone and got certification, training amd even internship opportunities by the sponsors of this event.

The fee structure of this college is feasible. College accepts allmost all mode of payment except cash i. e through checkbook, demand draft, UPI, SBI payment portal, online payment gateway like googlePay, PhonePe, FreeCharge, Bhim, AmazonPay, Paytm etc. Yes, at the time councelling students have to pay 20000 as a security money which is refundable after the completion of the course it means after 4th year. Yes college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Yes, college provide many scholarship opportunities for the students but only for it's native students (only those students which belongs to West Bengal). But education loan facilities are available for all students with the cooperation with banks.

Overall campus life is awesome. Talking about gender ratio is there are 40 girls on 100 boys which is decent. All types of extracurricular activities are organised periodically like sports day, many competition like in filed of robotics, website, artificial design and many more. Also, a football ground, gym, personal common rooms, indoor play ground, basketball court all are available inside the Campus and a decent hospital are also available.

Yes, I opted for hostel. The hostel room are average, in first year and second year students have to share their rooms, but the best thing is that students can select their roommate based on their choice. There is no shortage of hostel seats, as many students can opted for hostel without worries. Annually students have to pay 36000 for hostel room, food charge, internet charge everything are included in the price. One thing have to care that students how opt for hostel they must also have to pay food fee because it is mandatory.

Yes, college always in contact with the alumni, every year at the time of college techno fest (cemkoaghat techno fest named as resonance) at that time all juniors gets a golden chance to meet their alumni. We get a chance to get some motivation and learn a lot from them.

I got admission in this college through wbjee (West Bengal joint entrance exam) in 2017. I secured 3000 rank in this entrance exam. And in the choice filling process this college is in my top 10 list. I'm not able to get computer science branch but I'm able to get admission in the information technology field. Admission process is prity State forward, you have to give wbjee and then gone through concealing and then you easily get admission in this college.

Currently in third year in Information technology total 8 lectures are held daily. If talking about the whole college then about an average 150 lectures are held daily wise. Average age of all lecturar are about 35-40 and all are having a awesome knowledge and teaching experience most of them are IIT graduate and almost all of them are having industry experience because all faculties are already post worked with multinational organization. And for updating their knowledge all faculties does atleast one certification course in every academic year for the betterment of students.
