Course Curriculum Overview

Mainly two semester are in the every year. In each semester 25 marks internal assignment is done and for 75 marks a house examination is conduct. In the inernal assignment atest is conduct for 10 marks and aa assignment of 10 marks nad rest 5 marks is given for attendence.

Placement Experience

I am in 1 year student so I don't know much about tha placement criteria but this college is provided many best placement offer to the various students. Iheared that in the last year a student of b. Com. Got apackege of around 200000-250000.yes, college also organsie various internship program for all students.

College Events

In the every year a orientation is organised for the new students who take admission in the college. College have various society like dancing, singing, drama which organised various program through out the year. Every year a fest program is organised in the month of February and March.

The fees structure of the college is very feasible for all types of income group. The fees around of all the college course is around 10000-20000. It is the best college in this fees structure. Yes, the college provide the full transparency in the fees structure.

Yes, I take the nsp scholarship which is conduct at a all India level yes, college helps the students to take nsp scholarship easily.

Campus Life

In this college the gender rato is approximately equal. Yes, in our college there is various cultural, dance, drama society. Yes, in this college the college provide various sports for the students to play in this college cricket team is the best team of tha university.

Hostel Facilities

No. Because in this college there is no facility of any hostel type students have either opited for flat or pg etc. Not in this college but around all the college of the delhi university not provide any hostel facility it may not.

Because it is feasible from my home, l am intersseted in commerce line. This college is situated a decent place and this college is started in the around 1958.also the library of this college is of around 85000 books and also the canteen of the college is very big.

Faculty

In my course four to five lecture are conduct daily, and each professor is highly educated. Each faculty member is very helpful to all the student and other faculty member. No, not any lecture is based on certificate base some special lectures are conduct to many certificate based program

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college.
