The unforgettable past.

College management is quite biased for few student and thats why there were political environment between college and the students.

WBJEEE is west bengal joint entrance exam for the wbut university i scored 12877 rank and opted this college as suggested by my cousin.

Course constitutes of 4 year program, which i opted for cse(computer science and engineering) where we had total of 8 semester and almost 40 papers to study. First 2 years was just the replica of class 11 and 12 and then the technical part comes into play.

There were no internship offered for the project experience we have to go to the private companies for the training and we have to submit the project in the college for the marks.These training would take place in the summer break or the winter break.

I can give you the figure as out of 400 people 80 were placed so its like 20% placement companies visited TcsTech mahindraTilAnd few small local companies.

There were 3 major events that we use to celebrate the first was THE FRESHER we all know its the welcome party for the new batchThen the 2nd one was FEST it was total of 5 days where 1st 2 days was tech fest where all the games and few events like robotics etc happened and then there was cultural fest for next 3 days with few singers and bands would come to sing.

The fee is quite feasible.If you don't have any scholarship then the fee was 36000 per semester and 72000 for an year these was extra 1000 every semester for the exam fee. Apart from that you donot have to pay the college a single penny what so ever the library fine was rs 2 per book per day.

Yeah few things such as twf, government scholarship was there you can apply for that. There were certain rule for the scholarship student as they have to clear all the exams in one attempt and they should be regular in the class otherwise they may have to pay the fee for the particular semester.

I will rate these things to be quite good because i enjoyed my campus. If you like you can participate in many extracurricular activities along with sports and cultural activities. There were few events for robotics.

The rooms in hostel were to bad is was 4 sharing 3 sharing and was untidy, dirty and stinky mess food was just the way it should be you cannot have it if you are not hungary.

No there was nothing like alumni network once you are passed out they dont give a damn. This was one of the reason why student were not happy with the college authority and hence it was just the one of the major concern for the college authority. The passout students too dont like their college as it was not that supportive.

Exam was quite normal as we had 2 min sems and 1 final sem the mid sem use to happen in between the semester exams which was a 30 marks exam. Based on the marks obtained the semester marks was decided as the semester exam was of 70 marks and 30 was internal used to be calculated on the basis of mid sem exams.

The faculty was quite average and to be frank i have not attended that much class to judge the faculty initially i used to go to the classes but lectures were quite boring and i used to feel that i can have better understanding of the subject if i study on my own.
