Remarks

Professional and friendly learning environment. High-quality teaching assessment and management of learning. The admission process will be done via JEE Main, WBJEE result and direct admission. I prefer this college because it's very near to my home as well as our teacher's teaching skill is very good. Our college provides a maximum with no placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Information Technology but I really like programming and all. Our faculty members are very good they really help a lot. Our faculty teaching skill is excellent. We have 8 semesters, yes I know it’s difficult but we handle the situation very easy our syllabus will cover time to time. And we solve the previous year's model paper. So it's easy to score good marks.

In the previous year, many companies came to our college. And many students got placed. Our college average package is 3.5lac/annum. We don’t know about our placement that will be going in this year due to COVID-19. I don’t know what happened.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the fees is not too much. It's ok, I don’t know about the scholarship may be its there.

Campus Life

Every year a techno fest will hold named “Kritanj” and many other fests will arrange in our college. There is a lot of books available in our college. Yeah, we have a sports day and cultural activity. Many events were held in our college like Dance Singing, Drama, Paper submission and many more.

Interview Experience

I come in the direct admission process. So I don’t know about it. Criteria for admission- JEE Main, Wbjee CeeAmpai.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . I achived 15000 rank in wbjee so according to my rank and location i choose this college. I visit some more colleges like techno india,brai ware univerty etc but at least all of my criteria matched in this college.
