Remarks
Well honestly it wasn't my first choice but here I'm a BTech second-year student at Narula Institute of Technology (NIT), so let's start a brief trip to my college my second home as when you step foot in Narula you become a part of natrolite family which includes not only students but teachers, staff, and the everyone around who will make you feel no less than home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Information Technology, because of its market demand and my interest in computers. The ratio of faculty-student is 1:10. All are well qualified not only on degrees but tackling the students. Exams are always according to the guidelines of MAUKAT.
Placement Experience
From 3rd semester students are eligible for campusing and there are a lot of companies that visit are colleges like Capgemini, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Cognizant, Hitachi and the list goes each student can get more than 1 offers depending on the merits students also got multiple offers for example of four offers. The lowest packages range from 12k to 15k per month to 30k to 40k per month. The straight percentile of a student getting placements is 80%. Of course, my plan is to get placed in a good company with a decent package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are comparatively the same as other engineering institutes. There are a lot of scholarships opportunities I personally got a lot of financial assistance as being a financially unable student I opted for wbfs scheme and was not able to pay my fees for about 3 semesters until my wbfs got approved by the government but I was allowed to give my exams every time by the college. And now the college has waived half of my tuition fees.
Campus Life
Kritanj the annual fest happens around February or March. Almost all books are available in the library and it is easily accessible. Amenities include a stage, projector, tables, chairs, mic stand etc. There are a lot of sports activities like baseball basketball, cricket, badminton, sack race and other fun stuff.
Interview Experience
Topic of the GD was demonetization. The basics criteria are a merit. The preparations were simple jam, vocab, debate, GD, speeches, presentation.
