NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is one of the popular private colleges in KOLKATA. Job opportunities are best in this college. So I chose this college and the bad aspects are they are claiming for fees in this COVID 19 situation. Many students are not able to pay the fees on the selected date. The website was coolegedunia.com, where I come to know about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Subjects related computer is always a favourite of mine and programming is the best part of it. So undoubtedly IT is the best choice for me. Faculties of IT are too friendly and frank that I am able to clear my confusions with them. It's the best faculties in this college.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem students are able to become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, TATA visited and offered packages. 85% of students get placements from this college. My plan is to become a software engineer or want to give the IPSC exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

4.5 lakhs for 4 years BTech course. I didn't get any job yet but I get a scholarship offer of Internshala from the college.

Campus Life

KRITANJ is the name of the tech-fest of this college. I loved this event because I'm able to show my talent in art, robotics, gaming and so on. For my point of view tech fest is better than annual fest because I hate loud sounds.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home .
