Remarks

College management is working as per there rules and regulations and frankly it donot affedt the students in any way. All steps they take are for the betterment of the studies and college.

Entrance Preview

I opted for IP common entrance test. My rank was 1567. And I opted for this course because at that point of time my seniors recommended me to go for ECE telling so its benefits for government jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was set so that students can learn accordingly and grasp everything. First 2 semester were common for all branches and included Maths English physics chemistry etc. After that it became branch specific and we were taught subjects based on ECE.

Internships Opportunities

Generally the internship stipend depends on company to company. Some of the students got around 50 thousands for 2 months and some got less too.Internships depend on students to students on how keen they are towards doing the internship. We are asked to submit the projects documents that we worked upon during the internship.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are very good. 80? of the total students were placed. Multinationals like Infosys Accenture cognizant CSC HCL WIPRO etc come to the campus for mass hiring and some product based companies offered a huge package to the students.

College Events

3.5

Cultural fest Hackerland the tech fest Farewell Workshops Students teachers connect sessions. All events are good and students actively takes part in these events. Side by side other events are also taking place wherein the interested students take part and shoe there skill sets.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's reasonable as per me but some people find it expensive.1, 23, 000 per year for college fees and 70000 hostel fees. It is high compared to government colleges but yes its a private college giving some good facilities and better infrastructure and good qualified teachers so it will charge some extra to the people's pocket.I find it reasonable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a system in which the fresher's are provided with laptops at Avery lower cost depending upon therepercentages in 12th standard. Like if some one has percentage between 90-100 then 8000 only for a 30000 laptop If between 85-90 then the same laptop for rs 13000And if its is between 80-85 then the laptop will be given at 18000 only.laptops quality are always good.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was bigger compared to other colleges and the diversity was maintained in the campus. Students used to wear every kind of clothes ranging from ethnic to western wear. No politics prevailed. Economic status was not any issue with the students. Everyone was comfortable with other students.

Hostel Facilities

3

I haven't been to hostel much but the food was okay to eat and hostel was well maintained as I heard from some of the friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network has now started to take interest and some companies visit the college due to good aluminas. Accenture visited the campus due to one of our alumni who is at a good post in Accenture. Now we have started growing the alumni network so that juniors can be benefitted from it.

Exam Structure

It was neither too hectic nor too chilled out but we got times for fun too.We always had a fun factor in the college and it was never pressuring for us.Attendance is compulsory to be maintained at 75?. If not we were detained from giving the internal exams.

Faculty

4

Faculty is highly qualified and we had teachers who had huge amount of experience in there specific subjects. Most of them were PHD in there subject. They could give practical knowledge of the things as well in detail so as to clear the facts.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
