Remarks

The college is overall good if you dont have any other choice from IIT JEE, AIEEE or BITSAT.

Entrance Preview

I took enterance tests liek IIT JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT and IPU CET. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology accepts ranks of IPU CET. I ranked something near to 1900 in it. I chose MAIT because of its reputed faculty and good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was good the only flaw I felt was you were not able to choose from the electives that you wanted to study sometimes in the final year.

Internships Opportunities

There is no such placement session for internships one has to search for internships on his own. You have to apply for internships individually and it depends on the company whether it will offer stipend or not.

Placement Experience

3

The placement and job opportunities are good in this college most of the students are placed in mass recruiters like infosys and accenture. And if you are placed in one of these comanies, then you wont be allowed to sit for other placement drives. These mass recruiters offer about 3.5Lpa and other companies which come offer near 4 Lpa or less.

College Events

2

Many events are celebrated in the college the annual fest is named 'Techsurge and Mridang'. It happens in March and it is not that great that it used to be in around 2011-12. Other events like Sports day, independence day are also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is annual. It costs about 1Lpa (without including the hostel charges). It is cheap as copares to other private colleges in Delhi NCR.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no scholarship or loan facilities that were offered by the college. But there used to be one offer where newly entered students could buy a laptop on discounted rates depending upon the grades they got in the 12th standard.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was good but not awesome there were no such extracurricular activities happening in the college. Only one group from the Mechanical branch was active in participating and making thing other branch groups were almost dead.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I never lived in the hostels myself but some of my friends used to live there, They always told me that the hostel facilitates were okay and the food was also good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network was not at all good when I was a student but now there is a facebook page which connects all the alumnis. There is not much senior junior interaction as their is a seperate buliding yards away for juniors.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is the one thing that I didnt like about GGSIPU, During my time, there used to be 2 sessionals and 1 final exam. Due to these many exams, one does not find any time for some other research or project work.

Faculty

4

There is a mixed batch of faculty in the college there are some very good professors with awesome knowledge-base as well as some mediocre type too the faculty is very helping too.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
