Remarks
IMT N is renowned and has good faculty as well as good infrastructure. Even though the placements are average, the course provides an in-depth knowledge of business management. Industrial visits are quite low, however, the institute has started an initiative in the form of Social entrepreneurship project whereby student managers go to nearby villages and try to set up businesses which can be beneficial for the villagers.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was pretty up to date. Harvard University's cases were discussed to give in depth understanding. We had few good finance faculties like Sinha Sir. Industrial exposure was quite low however, Social entrepreneurship program was started instead.
Placement Experience
Number of companies visited is 90. Some of the companies include Bain & Co, Crisil, Deloitte, ICICI, HDFC, Wipro, etc. The placements are average. The placement process usually include aptitude test, GD and PI.
College Events
We have around 27 committees, forums, and ventures in total. The cultural committee is very active and conducts events for around 15 festivals every year. The inter college events like Concord and M35 sees participation of around 12 institutes.
Campus Life
We have proper football ground, basketball, court, tennis court, open gym and two closed gyms, wi-fi for hostel rooms, class rooms, mess and library. Library is well equipped and quite big with two floors. We also have 3 well equipped computer labs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are mandatory. Both single and double occupancy rooms are available. The hostels have clean rooms, washrooms, well equipped Wi-Fi and water coolers. Washing machines are not installed, however, there is laundry facility within the campus.
