A management institute of the repute of an IIM is offering this course, and that alone is hard to resist. The holistic curriculum offered at IIM Rohtak provides you an insight into what goes on to make a world-class management student. The subjects vary from Economics, Business Studies, Statistics to Philosophy as well as Psychology catering and nurturing every aspect of a potential future leader. Getting into an IIM right after 12th provides you an early start rather than going the traditional way.

Our curriculum has been specifically designed to cater the needs of students in the management expertise. The subjects varied from Economics, Business Studies, Statistics, IT to Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology. Instead of the traditional semester system, the course has a trimester system which I think is very useful given that it allows students to get introduced to a plethora of subjects. The faculty, although quite a few of them are guest faculties but they also come from reputed colleges including IIM Indore. But since the institute is just beginning to develop sooner or later we'll have almost all permanent faculties. Having said that, there are permanent faculties involved in teaching us as well and they are common for the MBA and BBA batch. At the end of every year, we are even required to work as an intern in various domains according to which year we are currently studying in as part of the course. This has really helped us apply our knowledge in a more practical way as well as to get industry exposure which is important for our critical thinking going forward. But academics aside, students here are also involved in organising club events including quizzes and treasure hunts that really puts your talents to tests, but more importantly inculcate qualities such as team spirit and creative thinking which otherwise might not be possible under academics. Being part of an MBA college gets us to allow and interact with the seniors and learn and be part of their ideas and social experiments.

Due to the Pandemic situation, our initial internships were cancelled and right now we are working as Research Interns under different professors. The student himself has to fetch his internships through social media profiles or doing research about the organisations providing internships. And it is totally up to the students to work with or without stipend, depending upon the organisation he/she joins.

Top companies visiting our Campus include Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank among others. The college for yet another consecutive year scored 100% placement. Since I am not from the MBA Batch so excuse me for not giving you complete inside details and insight, but this year's placements have been exceptionally good and saw a rise of roughly 15% in the median salary from last year. The Entrepreneur Cell in the college has conducted many workshops in the past bringing to our campus many small and big Startup founders.

There's nice camaraderie among the hostel mates and batch mates in general. Life at IIM has made sure that we get used to a daily routine, and then stick to it while also managing our Work, activities, Personal time as well areas of personal interests. Timing is sacrosanct here. There are a lot of clubs of different interests which are managed by students themselves and who frequently churn out interesting activities both competitive and recreational for the students to participate in. We get to organize and manage different events. The biggest event of the year though is Infusion, the college's annual fest where not only celebrities are invited but also, a lot of colleges take part in our inter-college competitions both in the Sports as well as Academics domain.

The college got its permanent campus just three years ago, so it would be unfair to compare it with other already established colleges. But having said so, the college is spread across approximately 200 acres of lands providing not all the students and faculty in-campus residential area. The campus features an activity centre which houses 4 badminton courts, a Table Tennis room, as well as a Carrom/Chess room apart from a fully built and equipped gym. The IPM has a separate reading room and a common Library for all students. A newly three-tier Knowledge Resource Centre has been built and awaits opening in roughly another month. All the hostel rooms and Library are equipped with high-speed Wifi for the entire day. There is a large ground as well to provide sporting activities like Cricket, Football and other outdoor activities.

There's a seperate hostel for girls and boys. Hostels are provided on a dual sharing basis. All the basic furniture including your study table, cupboard is already provided. The room is air-conditioned and wifi-equipped. Hostel facility apparently is compulsory so finding a room elsewhere is out of the question. There's a mess at walking distance from your hostel which has its own specific timings for breakfast, lunch, dinner. For the BBA students, it is mandatory for them to return to their hostels by 10pm.
