- Curriculum Could Be More Industry-Oriented The course structure is good, but adding more hands-on projects, certifications, and updated industry tools would enhance practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview
For KR Mangalam University, the curriculum is fairly relevant and structured, which influenced my decision due to its blend of theory and basic practical exposure. It builds a good foundation for real-world applications, though more industry-based projects and certifications would help. Exams are held through internals and end-semesters, moderate in difficulty. Improvement is needed in practical learning and updated teaching methods.
Internships Opportunities
At KR Mangalam University, internships are offered via the placement cell with companies like TCS, Wipro, HDFC, and startups. Roles include marketing, HR, finance, and IT. Stipends vary from ?5k–?15k/month. Students work on projects like market research, data analysis, and client handling, gaining practical exposure and improving employability skills.
Placement Experience
Placements at KR Mangalam University start from 5th–6th semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, HDFC and Infosys visit, offering roles in IT, management and sales. Highest package goes up to ~8–10 LPA, average 3–4 LPA, with around 70% placement rate. Training and internships are provided. After my degree, I plan to gain experience through placements or pursue higher studies.

Campus Life
Campus life at KR Mangalam University is engaging and social. Annual fests like cultural and tech events are held mainly in Feb–Apr. The library has good access to books and journals. Classrooms are smart with projectors and Wi-Fi. Sports, gym, and extracurricular activities are active. Various student clubs and groups help in networking, skills, and overall personality development.
Admission
I chose KR Mangalam University over other private colleges due to its modern infrastructure, approachable faculty, and better placement support. I also applied to Amity and Galgotias and got offers, but KRMU suited my budget and location better. Admission is simple: merit-based or via entrance test, with basic eligibility (50%+). The process is smooth and student-friendly.
Faculty
Faculty-student ratio is around 1:20, and most faculty are approachable and supportive. I liked faculty like Dr. Sharma for practical teaching and guidance. Some faculty rely more on theory, which can improve. Exams include internals and end-semesters; difficulty is moderate with a high pass rate. The curriculum is relevant but needs more industry exposure.
Night Life
Nightlife around KR Mangalam University is decent. Cafeterias and common areas close by 8–10 PM, library by evening, and gym till night. Hostel in-time is usually around 9–10 PM. Students hang out in campus spots or nearby cafés in Gurugram. The area is generally safe, but late-night movement is limited, so most students unwind within campus with friends.
