Most safest girls college.No.1college in India in science and arts. Prestigious college with myriad opportunities in different feilds. There are many socities in the college where one can join based upon their intrest.We have different cometetion and events National and international level competition.So many scholarship fo btighter studies.There is also a hostel.seats are based on merot

Different companies from different feilds often come an offer placements in their companies like Oberoi's Hotel Management,and many others. Please do note if you're student from Science background like Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences,you don't get placement offers in such fields

College Events

Tempest the annual fest is so amazing.Every department has theirown fest aswell.socities have their fest. Basically every day therre will be one or other event.You can also participate in those event

Campus Life

Very fantastic infrastructure with four block and beautiful buildings. Sports playgrounds and library are aldo good.There is a beautiful garden.Also there is paper waste recycling plant.Good cantees and other facilities

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

Honestly, I got Lady Shree Ram college at first with an English hons degree in hand. But I had Miranda listed 5 times in top 10 colleges I wanted to go to. So, I guess I got what I wanted. But, my dream college was Srcc with an economics degree. I am currently pursuing economics as a minor subject for now though. I believe that Miranda is a great college but it can never offer me what Srcc could. The admission process of my college is through the entrance exam called CUET. You have to get alteast above 720 from 800 if you want Miranda. Top courses require the least score of 760 in second cut off. It ois quite competitive....Read More
