Remarks
My main aim was to get admission in Delhi University and in regards to my marks i shortlisted few colleges on the basis of crowd, location, societies and the opportunities i get. I opted for Bcom(hons) because, I want to pursue MBA as my career in the field of Business.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of all the college in DU is same, so in which ever college you get admission the syllabus will be same. Some of my subject teachers are really good like Arun kumar who taught Maths and Financial accounting others subjects as Corporate law as well as Economics well good too, though i had some problems in Cost acconting and Evs which is an additional subject as the teaches were not that interactive.
Internships Opportunities
I opted for Metvy, it was a live project internship. The task were to cart on the product development project and prepare market stategies and reposts.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are good, the companies which visited last year were like KPMG, Deloitte, BYJU'S, IATSAT, and more come for placements. Almost half of the students enrolled in college sit for placement and the companies pick up students in lots on the acerage basis 60-70 students get good placements.
College Events
The campus life is not that great, but it's nice as i have developed reallg good number of connections and the chance to know more people increases as the Evening and Morning exist in the came campus but have two different buildings. My college has pretty good societies which are counted in the top 10 in DU. And we get a lot of opportunities to take part and compete with almost 50 colleges.
Campus Life
My campus is one of the biggest in terms of area in comparison to other DU colleges. The classrooms are decent and well spaced but they don't have smart class. I really love my Auditorium and seminar hall though its little compact. The libarary is filled with all the study materials required and computer lad have a good number of cumputers available for almost all the student though not every model is latest. The campus has great playground and wi-fi is also available in the campus. The best part is that the campus is just 10 steps from metro station.
