Anonymous's Review On JD Birla Institute - [JDBI], Kolkata

I certain did not just apply for this college or intitution but also for St.Xavier's college, St.Xaviers university and for amity university as well. Among these i had to sit for an entrance examination for xavier's college and xavier's university while on the other hand i had to appear for a direct interview for JD BIRLA and Amity University adter my name got shortlisted. After my interview and proper research i came to a conclusion that JD Birla is the best institute for BBA in kolkata. They have excellent faculty, facilities, the activities you get to be a part of here is amazing. So soon my name got short listed on the first merit list and we had to pay the admission fee within 48hrs. So thats how i chose it to be the college where i belonged.

Yes we do get to visit industries for learning and exposure but here its not that simple.Only selected students are asked to go for the visit. I guess the syllabus we have is comaritively more elaborate and depth, covers alot of sub parts, with subjects each semester along with computer practicals. I guess to what i have learned these years sharing my experience with my friends from different colleges, our college has the most highly professionalised and learned faculty members. Sir Sumanta Bhattacharya and Sir Bharghav Mazumdar were the best amongst all.

I have not yet opted for any such intership program for now. As of now i am still pursuing and in the 4th semester

The entrepreneurial cell of our college has got us some very well know companies visit our college to provide jobs such as jw mariott, wipro, exide, excenture, TCS consultancy, decathalon, radio mirchi, etc.

The campus though is shared with a school which is for a name sake only. But undoubtedly is big enough to enjoy your college life, bunk classes. As this college is never short of events, as theres always some event coming up everyday. None the less, JDBI has the most happening fest of the city, INVICTUS. Most enjoyed fests of all, where the celebrity line up is enough to astonish you.

I don't think this college approves any scholarships, on the contrary it has the income level criterion as its priority. It has aspirants come from all over the country as it is quite popular for the course it provides.It definitely is known for the students who have a high estabilished background and a high income level as well.

To be precise we have campus that is shared by a school namely BIRLA HIGH SCHOOL. However, we have fully Ac well maintaned classrooms, computer labs, huge fully ac auditorium, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket practise netted area, table tennis room, lift facility, no parking unfortunately. Quite big a canteen with only veg items, fountain area to hang out.That's it
