Remarks

This institute is 160th in all India top engineering colleges. And this is very close to my house and the reputation of this college is also good. The campusing rate is also good. And this college is Autonomous under MAKAUT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus is updated as it's an Autonomous college under MAKAUT, Till now no industrial exposures are not done, but seniors report that it happens in the final 2 years. The faculty is quite good and the CSE, IT, ECE, CIVIL, ELECTRICAL and MECHANICAL, are the reputed in our institute.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 380000 per year

Placement Experience

TCS is one of the biggest recruiter in our institute. With Deloitte, Infosys and Wipro also recruit a good amount of students from our institute. Some newly companies also recruit like Accenture, Zomato, Swiggy etc.

The campus life is quite interesting, there are many technical fests, cultural fests in a year. Our students in the institute this year created a smart robot (first in Kolkata to do it). We host many programs, competitions. There are many activities you can be busy with.

The sports facilities are okay in our institute and the wifi is also available but has some daily limit of using it. The library is one of the best undoubtedly, has a huge collection of books over 1 lakh. The labs are well maintained and have every required things you need to gain practical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . It is also affiliated with makaut university unlike the other colleges . The placement is 65%. The eligibility is not that hard to achieve. Minimum 75% in class 12 is enough. I achived 15000 rank in wbjee so according to my rank and location i choose this college. I visit some more colleges like techno india,brai ware univerty etc but at least all of my criteria matched in this college.
