Entrance Preview

Appeared OJEE entrance exam and qualified with 1047 rank to get this college. I opt because it is renowned college with high prestigious reputation and highly followed curriculum and best performance under Orissa state.

Course Curriculum Overview

Really I would say best.I really like the way they maintained it throughout the year after year.performance based faculty and curriculum based course.

Internships Opportunities

No internship available in our college they provide best laboratory facility. Hugh equipments and technology they don't provide any kind of stipend or internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is above average. l would say more than 80 percent student got placed every year in reputed companies. Mostly information technology. Providing good support to increase job opportunities.

College Events

Annual function Fresher's day Robotic Game war Annual sports day, Management day, Farewell party is really big party that is thrown by director. Big blash in annual day like tech festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is somehow feasible as compared to other college.but this could be very expensive for student who are coming from financially weak background.

No, college do not provide any kind of loan. They provide scholarship to meritorious student if they are pursuing higher degree like master

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 4 :1 like every 4 boy one girl is there workshop, party, dj night, functions all are equally involved in our campus life. Equally importance for each people.

Hostel Facilities

I never been to hostel in my life but what I heard from my college friend during college days that facilities are good managable. Canteen food is also good.even I was regularly had my lunch in college canteen only with proper care of everything's like walking cleaning decorations etc are maintained. Security guard vigilance every time.

Enjoy your bunking like because you never bunk as u did during college days. Last day preparation for exam trying to do malpractice and cought by your favourite professor. First sight love

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as per general conducting rule in India very strick in evaluation. Very strick during examination external evaluator visit during exam. Full controlled of examiner controller.

Faculty

All are not that much qualified which are lecturers. Bust the professor are highly qualified with M.Phil doctarate and management people are there.good sense of humor and vast knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
