Remarks
I chosen it because it has 3 fests every year. There are 3 fests namely:- Enthusiasm (Freshers' fest), Vivarta (Technical fest) and Sahotsava ( Cultural fest). Sanskaran is the name of the cultural club and Viarta, the technical club and RUDRA, the sports club. We have annual ports every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall syllabus of the college is same as of IIT KGP but faculty are not as qualified as stated. Neither are able to complete the syllabus on time. In simple words, faculty members are not capable of producing good engineers. Sometimes, you would feel as if basics of the teachers are not strong enough to make you understand.
Placement Experience
The college provides good placements in good companies. Many companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Google and many more visit Techno India University for placements. There is a lot of hope for getting placed in good companies. The average package offered is 4-5 lacs per annum. The highest package was offered for 2014-15 batch, and it was 15 lacs per annum by Microsoft.
College Events
The college has an awesome infrastructure. The campus has a huge building. Different laptop setups are available with the latest technology. There is a seminar hall to conduct all the programmes, and a 31 gaming room is present in Techno India University. The whole campus is well-maintained and furnished. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The campus is huge and has a well-equipped library.
Campus Life
Classes are generally LT halls with central AC facility. Infrastructure is no doubt nice as compared to other TECHNO colleges reason being the high semester fees. Two floors comprises of computer labs for all streams and years, 2 floors dedicated to LT halls. There is a floor which was comprising of library and common rooms now turned classrooms. Playing ground comprises of a football ground and nothing more. Also there's a swimming pool. Manufacturing, electrical, electronics labs are also present with sufficient rooms.
