Remarks
Our college was good. We had a love hate relationship with our professors. Our college management was good except when it came to campussing they were not much helpful.Some of the friends that i made at that time in college are an asset of my life. They will remain with me till my lifetime. I really miss those days I wish I could go back to those days again.
Entrance Preview
I took WBJEE exam and scored a rank of 10000 and joined Narula Institute Of Technology in electrical engineering stream. It was a course of 4 years.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a course of 4 years.Each year had 2 semesters each.So a total of 8 semesters.We had different subjects which were taught through these 8 semesters.There were some practical labs too in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
TCS , L nd T, sterllite private limited all these companies came for campussing us. No It was a self funded program.We were not provided any stipend.However for the post graduate program this facility was available.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities were not up to the mark.TCS came and offered a package of Rs 3.15 lakhs. L nd T came they offered a package of 3, 6lakhs.Sterllite offered a package of 3 Lakhs.
College Events
It organised college fests every year where well known performers came, It organised many sports events. There were many tech fests too where student could put forward thei innovative ideas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was little bit expensive.We had to pay Rs 34000 for each semester which was quite expensive compared to other colleges. So the overall package of the tution fee was quite high.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, such scholarship facility was available. But few took a bank education loan to complete their studies.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was proportionate in the college.In parties also the standard was good. There was full support towards all kinds of religions.No one is been humiliated in the sake race caste or creed.
Hostel Facilities
For girls the hostel was inside the college campus only. For boys the hostel was about 2-3 min walking distance from college. For hostel they took extra 10000 rupees for each semester. The hostels fee were quite cheap.
Alumni/Alumna
We had warm cordial relationship with all our seniors.They never misbehaved or bullied us when we were new to the college. Whenever we asked for their support say for ex.books or any guidance they were always ready for us. In the alumni we were really very well treated.We were given mementos as a token of appreciation and farewell. There were lunch nd snacks been provided too from their side.Overall experience was quite good.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was really good.It was done under strict viligilation. Yes at times it was hectic when two lab exams were held in a day, but written exams were not that much.
Faculty
Overall faculty of our college was very good.The professors of my departmental subjects were exceptional. It was because of their teaching that I started developing keen interests in this field.
