The College Days

So for my personal experience the college did not stand to my expectation i will give 3/10 for the college. Although i meet some interesting people during college days. So over all below to the mark.

WBJEE [West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination] Rank:17564. This college is very renowned in my family and friends one of my elder brother also passed out from Narula, So i choose this college.

I was a computer science and technology student there, the syllabus was okey type. As I felt so many subject studied by WBUT during 4 years is just not at all necessary in computer science. So its not at all up to the mark study.

Very few company came during our final year and the worst part is most of them took 1/2 people. That is truly disgusting. A huge amount of my friend have to go Bangalore searching for job.

Packages are very average like 1-4 lkh/year. In my batch out or 600+ students 50-70 students are placed. Company like tcs, tech mahindra etc came but very few got placed.

Every year our college host annual fest. That's kind of big as many famous band, artist, performer came during this time. Yeah this is the only part i found college up to the mark.

Yes for me fees structure is quite expensive. Its 35K pet 6 months And a total of 3 lkh for 4 year. I felt its expensive. Though for some of my friends this fee structure is very good.But for most of us its very expensive.

Yeah one of my friend taken a bank load from sbi its flexible as for the 1st year and till the bank approve your loan you have to pay from your pocket and and then bank will give you the checks.Also intreast rate may be around 10-12%, could not recall properly.

Yeah every year tech fest held in my college campus, labs are also clean and good. Though there is so little space for out door games like football and cricket.

I never stayed in hostel there as my home is within 50 kms of the college. But according to my hostel friends its an average hostel facility. Also the canteen food is good at some times but not all the time. But food is cheap i must say 25 for 1 plate dim vat is seriously cheap.

From 2013 my college held alumni meet, they take some money from us to conduct this meet up. Though we ex students have a great facebook group from where we got most of the information about the college.

Exams are good prepared in very professional manner.In this portion i must say my college stands out. Also the labs are over average. I hope internet speed in the labs is better now.During my college days its same as 2g speed.

I felt the same about the faculty. Most of them are below average, Although i must say 1/2 are very professional. But I would say 4/10 For faculty in my college.
