Remarks

I heard it being a really nice college from my seniors. College is huge, with a huge number of students from other branches too. So, always some fests or events are going on in college. Extracurricular activities are well appreciated, and there are different clubs. Amenity centre has been built where students conduct their club related activities. The best thing about this college is its campus life, its greenery

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the teachers are alumni of this college. So they understand you. They are well qualified. Many of them have contacts with international architects. The department is strict. The course curriculum is reasonable from second year onwards. In the first year all you have to do is painting, which will be painful for non-painter would-be architects.

Almost 92% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered to the students ranges between Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Top roles, like an architect, civil engineer, drafter, etc, are offered in our course. Some top recruiting companies like Tata and Hindustan Construction Company visited our college for our course placements. About 78% of the students form our course got an internship in Hindustan Construction Company.

College Events

All the facilities that are required are provided by the college, including printing, scanning facilities and laser cutter for making models. Department has cad labs with enough number of desktops. Studio facility with an adjustable table set up according to the height of a person. The 5th-year studio is air-conditioned, and soon other studies will be. Hostel, canteen and medical facilities all are available. There is no such drawback regarding facilities.

Campus Life

The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms and library. Quality of food served in the canteen and hostels is good. It provides different types of a playground for sports. Medical facilities are available. Every year it arranges a tournament for various types of sports and games.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
