Vineet Bagai's Review On Netaji Subhas University Of Technology - [NSUT], New Delhi

AIEEE, I scored rank 5528 in Aieee in 2008 and I decided to choose NSIT Only because it was in delhi. Previously i was admitted to MNIT Jaipur and i had joined that college but the I moved to NSIT.

Course curriculum is awesome. First semester was all about subjects we have studied in 12th like maths physics and humanities. Second semester was based on my branch Instrumentation and Control Engineering, the subjects were electronics.

My experience has not been good in college internship. At my time only few companies visited for internship such as Delloite, Microsoft, Teach for India etc. they only took toppers of respective branches and i was not one of them i couldnt get internship from college. Although i got internship from a website Twenty19.com . Stipend offered for internship varies from 10000 to 100000 per month.

Fees structure is Feasible. We get almost same standard of education as we get in IIT's in almost 24000 per annum at my time. Now a days i think it is 50000 per annum but still pretty genuine.

As the college comes under Delhi university. We had all the scholarship and loan facility offered by university such as some scholarship for ST, SC and Defence Students and for handicapped as well.

Alumni networks is the reason that 99% of the students in NSIT are placed before the start of 8th semester. We have our seniors and alumni in all the big companies and they use to visit when the companies visit our campus for placement. Also seniors tend to help juniors alot in their curiculum or sports or in giving advice we can get advice from seniors at any instance of time .

The Faculty is pretty awesome. Almost all of them have written some books on their subjects, some of them are guest lecturers in top most institutes in India. Even Gadre sir is guest lecturer in Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Delegates from all over the world visit him in college so many times.
