Remarks

I liked this college because its has an comfortable infrastructure for students to study and enjoy. It's also has seperate building for sports facilities and has a large ground for cricket,volleyball, basketball,tennis,football and shuttle. It's also also has an huge library which contains wonderful books to gain knowledge.the staff are also very friendly and takes classes for the students very interestingly

Course Curriculum Overview

My English professors Pravin sir , Deepa ma'am , Nandhini ma'am all the three professors were very kind and friendly towards me. I always feel comfortable in asking doubts to them them. The way they take classes never makes the students bunk their classes.

They are good if you complete the degree and go to some company you will get good recognition many students have good highly placed in good companies reached decent level in their life and many of them came to the same collge as a cheif guest and they also best advice to upcoming students

The campus life in the college was awesome and I enjoyed most of time in events and extracurricular activities in college. Especially the events in colleges gives pleasant feel for the students to watch it.

My college has seperate large building for sport facilities it's also has an wide ground for cricket,Basketball,Football,Volleyball ,Tennis and Shuttle. Library is centre of the attractions in my college library interior and exterior design gives your special feel and droves you in to read books

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC. Submit the TANCET score , it will shortlist accoding to the cut off , then we have a personal interview and final selection and documentation process...Read More
