Abhijit Dhan's Review On Techno India University, Kolkata

Since my childhood, I had an interest in doing a computer science and engineering job. The best thing of computer science engineering is that you can relate all the studied things with the practical. I would like to improve the practical knowledge to be more to achieve the best. Every year we have various events, and two fests one cultural and one technical fest held. Besides, those extracurricular activities like debate and all were organised. Our college was in the main place called Salt lake surrounded by various many companies. So that was a beautiful experience ta be apart of our Techno India university.

Teachers in our college were very helpful. They help us in achieving knowledge and teach how to observe in the core department. Thus our faculty members helped us in a better way as we expected. Even they teach in a smooth way and very interactive way, that for sure helped us. This course curriculum was very much relevant and thus helped to be industry-oriented.

Due to current derogatory condition of India's economy and pandemic COVID-19, the placement rate is greatly affected this year. In general, topmost food companies like ITC, COCA-COLA, ADANI, NESTLE etc. Along with some IT companies, bio-pharma companies come to our college. The pay-scale normally lies between 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. Every year, the students get satisfactory placement more or less.

In our college, the best part was that it was a beautiful campus in Kolkata. The faculty members were well qualified and had a decent experience with them. In civil engineering, we got a chance to set some of our laboratory instruments and by this, we got an amazing chance to learn directly. Our faculty members and management were very much friendly with us. In our college most of the place was Wi-Fi and the library was also a good place. In our hostel, very friendly and helpful members were available who guided us very well and our canteen was very beautiful and good. There was a medical room in our college and besides that sports and games were an integrated part of all of us.

In our department, we have sound labs with modern equipments where the students can get acquainted with the technologies being used at present in the food companies all over the world. Hostels' facility and their food is not recommended. But our college is pretty active in different sports and games.
