Remarks

This is a well known and one of the finest institute of West Bengal. There was also hostel facility available and the campus is very big and spacious. The placement records are very high in our stream too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are helpful. If you do not attend the classes daily, then they will not help you a lot. All the teachers are well-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers teach us to work in the industry and how to work properly.

Placement Experience

From campus placements, above 85% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered is nearly about 10 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month. TCS, Cognizant, CTS, Capgemini, Wipro, Oracle, Amazon, etc, are the top recruiters of our course. The top role offered in our course is a service manager. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 7.50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Above 50% of the students got internships.

College Events

Our college celebrates all events, fest, etc. At different times, there are some groups of clubs to organised these programs and events. All facilities are available here like gym, playgrounds, proper canteen. the college life is extremely wonderful here.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
