Remarks

I had chosen this college, because I couldn't get admission in Xaviers. I really wanted to go to Xaviers but the cut off was pretty high and Jai Hind is one of the top colleges in Maharashtra, so i choose Jai hind

Course Curriculum Overview

Usually, the faculties in the college are teaching in the college for many years, so they have an upper hand on the education system of the college. Sarita ma'am is one of the best Economics teacher of the college.

Course Fees: INR 5525 per year

Placement Experience

As far as i know, there is a placement cell in the college, but they usually don't organize any activity to engage students. There is surely an Entrepreneurship cell in the college which is very good as they keep the students learning by organizing various events.

College Events

Jai hind is known for its festival in and around Mumbai. There are various extracurricular activities organized by the college to keep the students engaged. There is an Accountancy cell in the college that fascinates me the most.

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Life of St Xavier's Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

The Best College Campus

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
